Restorative Reproductive Medicine

Care that cooperates with your body

Restorative reproductive medicine (RRM) is our clinic's foundation.

RRM is a scientific approach to reproductive medicine that cooperates with and restores the normal, healthy anatomy and physiology of your reproductive system.

A new approach.

Reply Medical Director Dr. John M. Thorp, Jr., expands on the promise of reproductive healthcare that is cooperative and restorative.

RRM aims to cooperate with, support, and optimize natural reproductive function.

Conventional medicine often suppresses or thwarts reproductive function.

How is RRM different?

RRM aims to diagnose and treat underlying conditions comprehensively to restore health. Symptoms consequently should improve or resolve altogether.

Conventional medicine often focuses on managing symptoms while leaving underlying conditions undiagnosed or insufficiently treated.

RRM aims to identify and treat underlying conditions, so couples can conceive naturally and have a healthy pregnancy.

Conventional medicine’s IVF solution for infertility is designed to bypass underlying conditions to try to force a pregnancy.

RRM integrates cycle tracking as a central feature of care: patients work with a fertility educator to understand cycle biomarkers and their medical relevance, including that ovulation is a sign of health. Cycle tracking is used to time interventions for evaluation and treatment. Cycle tracking also allows patients to identify days when they are most likely to conceive.

Conventional medicine omits fertility awareness cycle tracking, a health tool that provides important clues about female reproductive health and allows for more precise and customized care.

“This is about understanding what the human body is designed to do. It’s about understanding what’s really healthy, and when things aren’t healthy, how to get back to a normal, healthy physiology.”

Is RRM Right for You?

Infertility Program

RRM recognizes infertility as a symptom or syndrome that should prompt a comprehensive medical evaluation to identify underlying factors. Find out what may be causing or contributing to your infertility, and what RRM treatment options could help optimize your health for natural conception.

Miscarriage

RRM views any miscarriage as warranting evaluation to identify possible preventable factors, and cycle tracking monitors for possible miscarriage risk factors for all patients, regardless of miscarriage history. Learn how RRM can help with miscarriage prevention treatment and early pregnancy support.

Gynecology

RRM recognizes irregular cycles, painful cycles, and other symptoms as indications of underlying health problems that warrant medical evaluation and treatment. It is not a “normal part of being a woman” to have chronically irregular cycles or debilitating pain with your cycle. RRM offers a pathway to understand your cycle and address underlying health conditions.

Fertility Education

RRM champions fertility awareness cycle tracking--an inexpensive, multi-purpose health tool that can serve all women throughout their reproductive lifespan. Dubbed the “fifth vital sign,” fertility awareness helps women understand and monitor their health, it aids clinicians in diagnosing and treating patients, and it provides couples the opportunity to manage their fertility naturally. Health Coaching

RRM elevates lifestyle factors as a critical component of holistic care. Your nutrition, exercise, and sleep habits need to be considered when optimizing your reproductive and general health. Other factors such as stress management and exposures to environmental toxins can affect your health including your fertility. Make a plan with your Reply health coach to see where you could get started today.
